R & D Project Manager: East Midlands

Do you have a proven track record in crop or plant trials together with a passion for sustainable farming? If you're seeking to be part of a market-leading propagation business at the forefront of innovative agricultural, environmental and climate solutions, we're keen to talk.

As R & D Project Manager, you will work closely with the Managing Director and Founder of the business in managing and delivering both externally funded research projects and the company's internal R&D programme. With a focus on scaling-up of sphagnum farming, this is a varied role taking responsibility for devising and implementing new project proposals, developing trials strategy and monitoring trial sites.

What you will have:

• A proven background in crop or plant trials
• Practical experience of commercial agriculture
• Excellent communication and leadership skills through multiple channels
• A degree in a related field in desirable
• Ability to manage data collection, analysis and reporting
• Experience of setting up and monitoring trial sites
• Ability to submit and manage applications for grant-funded project
• PA1 & PA6 desirable
