Skilled Arable Operator - Warwickshire
An opportunity has arisen for an ambitious arable operator to join a forward thinking 850 ha joint venture farming business based near Leamington Spa.
You will be working alongside the farm manager and expected to take a lead role in all farming operations. You will be using modern machinery with the latest mapping and GPS technology.
The joint venture sits alongside the wider award winning Squab Group, which is a successful multi disciplined family business. For the right candidate this is a great opportunity to develop your career by joining a professional, dynamic and expanding farming business.
The successful candidate will:
- Be capable of taking responsibility for combining, cultivations, spraying.
- Have a genuine interest in looking after machinery.
- Embrace technology and develop precision farming approaches.
- Have a methodical and quality focused mindset to your day to day duties.
- Be a good communicator to those around them and have a positive attitude.
- Be open minded to the evolution of farming practices.
- Be expected to live close to the farming operation.
