Sprayer Operator

Wallasea Farms Ltd is a 4000-acre in-hand farming business operating from multiple sites on the east coast of Essex, growing combinable crops. An opportunity has arisen to join our young, well-motivated team as lead Sprayer Operator. We require an experienced individual to operate a self-propelled Bateman RB55 sprayer with full RTK guidance and section control.

The role will include responsibility for secondary cultivations using a JD8370 RT along with providing relief drilling and combing cover.

We are looking for a self-motivated person capable of working to a high standard. They will be expected to fit in with the demands of seasonal work patterns and be involved across the full range of farm duties. An interest in the application of new technology to the role would be an advantage.

The successful applicant would ideally have:

• PA1/2 and telehandler certificates.
• The workshop skills necessary to maintain equipment to a high standard
• Good organisational and communication skills
• A strong health and safety ethic
• A full UK driving licence
