Business Development Manager – Dairy Industry

This role is for someone who has great people skills, a passion for dairy farming and the ability to drive sales growth.

As Business Development Manager you will identify new customers and build relationships within the sector with the aim of generating leads for the company’s local dealerships. Your efforts will be focused specifically on large dairy farms and therefore you must have a shrewd commercial acumen.

Other responsibilities include key account management, contributing to sales/marketing strategy and monitoring market trends. You will maintain close ties with the dealerships, acting as their point of contact for any large-scale dairy farming queries and coaching sales staff.

Successful candidates for this position will have extensive knowledge of the dairy farming industry, previous sales experience and the ability to organise their own diary.

This is a national role that involves significant travel to visit customers, attend events and support the dealer network. On average, you will spend one day a week in the West Midlands based office and two days working from home.
