As part of one of the largest specialist animal nutrition business in the world the successful person will be an instrumental figure in the senior leadership team, managing all day to day production operations at the company's state of the art plant in Worcestershire.

This global leader are manufacturing top quality products for the animal feed industry, operating to the most stringent quality and purity control regulations. You will be someone who leads from the front, managing the production facility to the highest standards, motivating a substantial team and implementing strategic goals in line with business strategy.

Ideally, you will have an understanding of the fermentation process- this could be in the human or animal food production industry although this is not essential as long as you have a sufficient background managing a food production facility.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Working closely with the Operations Director and financially controller to develop annual budgets and targets.
  • Leading strategic initiatives to drive the production facility forwards.
  • Empowering and managing a large team, developing their skills through training and monitoring performance.
  • Ensuring the production facility is operating at the highest standards whilst maintaining efficiency.

The package: To reflect the seniority and importance of the role there is a significant package on offer to include bonus of up to 15%.
