DESCRIPTION
A Feed Straights Area Sales Manager is required to sell and trade straights particularly wet co products as well as  straights to Dairy & Cattle farmers throughout the North of England. Previous trading or sales experience to livestock farmers is essential.This is a dynamic individual preferably with experience in the animal feed industry.

Excellent communication ability along with good IT/computer skills is important for the successful candidate. Candidates need to have strong self-motivation with a desire to succeed.
Knowledge of feed straights and blends/cow diets is desirable albeit not essential if candidates have strong farm connections or sales skills. As well as working with  the company’s customer base in Scotland, there  will be a requirement to grow  customer numbers.

An agricultural background knowledge and experience of livestock farming and feeding  plus awareness/empathy of to-day's livestock business farms is essential.

LOCATION
This role will  home-based, probably in Northern England or Scottish Borders
