Description

A Ruminant Business Manager is sought by a well-known Nutrition and  Feed Additives business  for the Midlands area. . The company sells its well-known branded products through a strong network of the feed industry and merchanting companies throughout the Midlands. This is an ideal career enhancement for someone with a first class ruminant  selling experience and ambition, .

The primary hands on duties will include the sales and promotion of the company’s well-known range of branded nutrition products and feed additives to dairy and beef farmers through key  merchants  and feed industry through the central belt of England.

It is important that candidates can use  their influence with third party field staff in generating farmgate sales and gain positive merchant staff  confidence  in themselves and company products

It is likely the successful candidate will have practical ruminant  nutritional/feeding knowledge, the priority is for someone with appropriate commercial aptitude.  Previous experience within the GB ruminant agri- industry, will give candidates an advantage when applying for this role. Candidates with a practical dairying and feed nutrition background with an agriculture/animal science degree, sales experience with livestock farmers,  an outgoing personality and a will to succeed, are encouraged to apply. 

 Candidates will need to demonstrate a good work ethic, meet deadlines as well as having good IT and communication skills.

Location

Candidates can be home based anywhere in the Midlands and the central belt of England
