Job Details

We are recruiting for a Pig Stockperson to work across multiple units for a farming enterprise in Suffolk (IP14).

Our client is a high-welfare straw-based producer with indoor and outdoor sites – 7kg to 115kg. 

The permanent role will require the individual to move between several sites within a 12-mile radius of Stowmarket.

Candidates must:

  • Have own transport & driving licence
  • Be reliable and flexible
  • Have a passion for the pig industry
  • Have high animal welfare standards

 

Extensive pig experience is not essential as training will be provided; however, an understanding of agriculture is advantageous.

Salary: £11.03 per hour


Hours: 

Usually, 07:45 - 16:30. However, if loading pigs, 01:30 starts are possible.

Weekends may be introduced based on four hours on a Saturday & Sunday alternate weekends after training.
