This is a fantastic opportunity for a Broiler General Manager / Area Manager to join a growing team within this established family run business. This is permanent opportunity which offers an attractive salary and benefits structure.
Our client is a family run business in the Poultry industry. They invest in their employees and support and develop their people. Due to growth are looking for Broiler General Manager to look after 9 farms in the Yorkshire and Lincolnshire area.
As a Broiler General Manager you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of at least nine farms to ensure they meet the highest standards in bird welfare, hygiene and bio-security, as well as Health and Safety. You will have responsibility for flock performance to achieve KPI’s. You will also need to ensure that all sites meet and surpass all industry standards and Compliance requirements. Employees across all sites will be managed by yourself and you will be responsible for the schedule of work rotas, absenteeism, holidays and training.
The ideal person will have experience within the Poultry industry, someone with previous broiler management experience is also desirable. You will need strong people management skills and a proactive attitude with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
