Potato Production Director

Due to retirement Alexander Harley Seeds needs to recruit a replacement Potato Production Director for its own growing operation.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the production of over 170Ha of high-gradeseed potatoes annually. This will include renting land, planting, rogueing, crop protection, agronomy, harvesting, storage and grading. The crop will be marketed by Cygnet Potato Breeders to countries around the world. 

Based in Milnathort, Scotland, the ideal candidate will have a range of practical farming skills, good communication skills and the ability to manage people. Also, to be part of a bigger team breeding and marketing potato varieties for the future.

A competitive salary package including pension, company car and profit-related pay as part of a larger organisation is available.
