This sales role requires someone with the drive and initiative to work independently and manage their own territory, workload and diary.

However, you will also be a team player who can slot into a highly supportive and collaborative sales team.

This is a multi-faceted role which consists of three key areas: sales, account management and business development.

Day to day you will visit customers, offer feed advice, sell feed and provide customer service. You will also be responsible for identifying new customers and helping to grow the business in your area.

Whilst you will have the support of trained nutritionists, a basic understanding of ruminant nutrition will be necessary to credibly communicate with farmers.

This role would suit someone who is looking to develop their career and grow with a company that has a track record of providing training and internal promotion.

Candidates without sales experience will be considered.

The role:

  • Be the main point of contact for customers in your territory
  • Visit customers/On farm sales
  • Provide feed advice
  • Customer service
  • Identify new customers and build relationships
  • Hit sales targets
  • Create territory sales plan/strategy

You will have:

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Basic understanding of ruminant nutrition
  • Willing to travel extensively
  • Able to manage your own diary
  • UK driving license
