General Farm Worker with Livestock Experience

Boddington Estates is a progressive 1500 acre privately owned mixed farming enterprise based near Cheltenham in Gloucestershire.

An opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated, conscientious individual to join our small team.

We are looking for suitable person to take responsibility for our Stabiliser Suckler herd, the ideal candidate will have livestock experience to enable them to manage the welfare of our cattle unsupervised on a day-to-day basis.

Other responsibilities include but are not limited to, estate maintenance, fencing, and general upkeep of the estate which is an extremely important part of the job. You will also assist with the arable operations as required.

The attributes sought include enthusiasm and attention to detail with the successful candidate having pride in their work and self-motivation whilst it is essential that they are a dedicated team player.

The applicant must have a full driving licence, forklift and sprayer qualifications, chainsaw certificates would be an advantage but not essential.

A remuneration package and ongoing training based on experience will be offered to the right candidate along with a three bedroom cottage on the farm.
