Pig Stockperson

We are recruiting for a Pig Stockperson farm in North Yorkshire YO7.

The job offers an excellent opportunity to join a 750-sow indoor unit producing 7kg weaners. 

The ideal candidate will have experience in all areas but with a particular emphasis on dry sows. 

Ideally, the successful applicant will have 2+ years of experience in the pig industry, but training is available for applicants with less experience.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Working with dry sows
• Serving
• Vaccinating
• Scanning
• Assisting in other areas when needed
• Accurate record-keeping
• Welfare of stock
• Working alternate weekends
• Experience with tractors, trailers, telehandlers, etc., is preferred but not essential.

This is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to be part of a well-established company.

Salary: £30,000 – £40,000 DOE

Plus, paid holiday and a workplace pension.

Accommodation is not available, so applicants need to be able to commute to YO7.
