Assistant Working Farm Manager required for a 1800ha owner-occupied arable business based near Grantham, South Lincolnshire.
Main responsibilities will include supporting the day to day running of the farm, operating modern equipment, using precision farming technology and assisting with the stewardship of a long-term investment.
The position would ideally suit an enthusiastic person, with excellent IT skills an eye for detail. The job involves long hours at key times and a flexible approach is important, along with a good understanding of crop production, the environment and machinery.
Suitable candidates will ideally possess a formal agricultural qualification along with PA1/2 and telehandler certificate.
We offer a competitive package including continuing training and a house on the farm if required.
