Dairy Product Specialist – Ireland (RoI & NI)

If you’re passionate about the dairy industry, this could be the ideal opportunity to build your technical and commercial skillset with a market leader and innovator.

As Product Specialist, it will be your job to learn everything there is to know about your product line and become the inhouse expert.

You will add value to your colleagues by sharing your knowledge of the industry, teaching them about the features and benefits of your products and being their point of contact for product queries. Excellent customer service starts with well informed sales staff.

This job will suit someone who is a good communicator and is comfortable leading training sessions and product demonstrations. Travel is an essential part of this role and you will be expected to visit the company’s network of dealers based in Ireland.

Knowledge of the dairy industry and the companies that operate in the market is essential. Practical, on farm experience would be highly advantageous.

Your role:

• Be the expert on your respective product line
• Act as internal point of contact for product questions
• Train sales staff on product features and benefits
• Demonstrate products
• Advise the Marketing Team on product use and functionality
• Maintain and develop relationships with key stakeholders
• Suggest product improvements
• Keep up to date with market conditions, trends and rival products

What you will have:

• Strong dairy background
• Excellent communication skills
• Presentation skills
• Willing to travel
• Full UK driving license
• Practical dairy experience (Preferable)
