Pig Farm Manager

We are recruiting a Pig Farm Manager for a unit in North Yorkshire Y07. 

Due to retirement, our client seeks a hands-on, performance-driven individual who can motivate and lead the team.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-invested family business within an existing 700-sow breeding and Finishing unit alongside good staff. 

This position ideally suits someone with 5+ years of experience, a proven track record, and a strong work ethic to maintain an existing high performance.

They are looking for someone with: 

• Excellent pig husbandry skills
• A strong work ethic
• Great attention to detail
• High animal welfare standards
• Accurate record keeping
• Good organisation planning and people management

Salary: £40,000 - £48,000 DOE

Plus:

Hours: Basic 42.5 hour week plus overtime Monday-Friday and every other weekend.
