As a farm mechanic, you will be working on a range of machinery and vehicles

The farm fleet includes tractors, combines, harvesters, sprayers, trailers, JCB telehandlers, forklifts, ATVs, UTVs, 360 excavators, minibuses and cars along with other equipment and implements relating to the farm.

To be successful as a farm mechanic, you will need to have:

• Previous experience in a mechanical role on a broad range of vehicles and machinery (essential)
• Ideally having had experience working on heavy plant or agricultural machinery (preferred but not essential)
• Ability to diagnose faults
• Excellent problem-solving
• Ability to manage own workload
• Pro-active and can-do attitude
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Good communication skills
• Welding experience
• Full driving licence
• Experience driving farm machinery and forklifts would be advantageous

About the Farm

A family-run business located in Ross-on-Wye, Herefordshire farming a mix of combinable crops, potatoes, raspberries and blueberries. We are currently looking to hire someone to join our team as a Farm Mechanic looking after our fleet of farm vehicles and machinery.
