Since Tithebarn’s merger with Minsups, we bring together a shared expertise in manufacturing and selling quality mineral livestock supplements. With an exstensive range compromising of bagged minerals, protein supplements, buckets and blocks.

Job Details

Due to an expansion and forthcoming retirement, two full-time positions have become available for knowledgeable and dedicated professionals to join the Scottish team.  You will be given your own specific area and established customers within that area. Full training and ongoing support will be given.

Key functions

  • Responsibility for the relationship management, retention, growth and development of a portfolio of customers using best practice strategies
  • Operate robust planning and organisational practices in order to deliver a first class service across the customer portfolio
  • Own, develop and maintain strong relationships with the key decision makers across the customer base understanding those farming enterprises and ensuring that existing retention and new business opportunities are identified and progressed in a timely manner, thus ensuring maximum sales penetration and market share
  • Ensure the delivery of business targets (adhering to the agreed minimum order levels) across the designated area as set out by Senior Management in order to ensure the continued success of the Farm Sales Division
  • Personally maintain a strong knowledge of the Tithebarn product proposition and associated processes, keep abreast of  legislative developments and other market activity in order to be able to discuss relevant topics in an informed manner and influence customer decision making
  • Ensure customer records along with daily activity data are fully maintained and communicated as set out by Senior Management requirements Ensure that all record keeping as directed is kept fully up to date at all times to comply with external compliance requirements
  • Own and action accordingly the customer complaint handling process ensuring appropriate resolution
  • Take responsibility for your own continuous personal development as directed
  • Comply with all aspects of external compliance as directed (eg. Data Protection)

Skills Required

  • Experience and knowledge of livestock mineral and protein supplement product solutions and marketplace
  • Strong communication and presentational skills both in a telephone and ‘face to face’ situation
  • Ability to both fact find, through strong listening and interpersonal skills, and provide appropriate product solutions
  • Possess high levels of ‘energy and drive’ in a home based/one to one environment
  • Strong planning and organisational skills
  • Attention to detail specifically around record keeping
  • Competent in the basic functional use of office technology such as email,word & excel
  • Possess a clean driving license
