A leading provider of crop inputs and agronomy services is seeking a talented and experienced Agronomist to join their team. With a commitment to innovation, sustainability, and excellence, this organisation plays a pivotal role in supporting farmers across the UK.

The Role

As an Agronomist, you will have the opportunity to work closely with farmers, providing them with expert agronomic advice and solutions. Responsibilities include conducting field assessments, diagnosing crop health issues, recommending appropriate crop protection products and fertilisers, and assisting with crop planning and management strategies. Collaboration with a team of agronomists and specialists is essential to deliver tailored solutions that maximise crop yield, quality, and profitability for clients.

The Candidate

Bachelor's degree in Agronomy, Crop Science, or related field. BASIS and FACTS qualified. Minimum of 3 years' experience working as an Agronomist or in a similar agricultural role. Deep knowledge of agronomy principles, crop production techniques, and pest and disease management. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed recommendations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with farmers and industry partners. Proficiency in agronomic software and technology.
