Job Role
As a Digital Product Manager for our On-board Digital Solutions, you will be responsible for driving the future development and sales growth of the CLAAS Digital Solutions installed on our machines. Reporting to the Head of Digital Business, you will influence new product development through the collection of customer feedback, working closely in conjunction with our European product companies. You will communicate current product information to our UK and Irish dealer network and support them to grow sales of CLAAS Digital Solutions.  Candidates are expected to have experience with sales or product management and the operation of modern agricultural machinery including GPS steering systems, ISOBUS and Precision Farming Applications. This role will require regular travelling for customer or dealer visits as well as overseas training and meetings.

 Main Duties

  • Manage the on-board digital product portfolio and drive future development based on customer requirements
  • Communicate product and marketing information to our dealer network
  • Provide sales support to our dealers and customers in collaboration with our field-based Digital Solutions Consultants
  • Attend customer and dealer events to demonstrate CLAAS Digital Solutions
  • Assist with the development and execution of local strategy to grow sales of Digital Solutions in collaboration with our sales partners and the Digital Business Team

Essential Skills & Knowledge

  • Experience in operating modern agricultural machinery with GPS steering systems, ISOBUS and Precision Farming Applications
  • Relevant experience in sales product management and gathering of customer requirements
  • A strong enthusiasm to achieve customer satisfaction
  • A self-motivated and a driven work ethic
  • A valid, current UK Driving licence
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Good IT proficiency and literacy skills

Hours of Work
According to the business requirements (Minimum 37.5 hours per week).
This role does not attract an overtime rate.
