Job Details
We are recruiting Pig Stockpeople for a free-range pig farm in Queensland, Australia, either on a Working Holiday Visa or longer-term on a Sub Class 482 Visa.

These fantastic new job opportunities are based on a 2200-sow outdoor pig farm.
The enterprise has high animal welfare standards. Their pigs are raised and fed the 'natural way' using chemically-free methods. They farrow-to-finish on one site and are part of the Australian Pork Industry Quality Assurance Program Certified (APIQ) scheme.
Our client has recently expanded the unit and is looking for good stock people to join their busy team.
Applicants will need to demonstrate:
- High welfare standards
- Ideally, one year’s+ of experience (Or three + to qualify for a 482 Visa)
- Passion for the Pig Industry
- Good communication and people skills
- Interest or experience in free-range farming
Salary Guide: $75,000 - $80,000
Plus: Single-person and family housing is available – rent payable per week.
