Pig Stockperson Farm Worker

We are looking for an experienced Pig Stockperson for a pig farm in North Yorkshire Y07.

This well-established business is a 3rd generation producer, committed to the pig industry.

This business welcomes ambitious people, taking responsibility is encourage, hard work is rewarded. 

A strong team culture exists, so this role is a great opportunity to work within this business on their 700 sow breeding and finishing unit.

This position that would ideally suit someone with 2+ years of experience with a proven track record, a strong work ethic to maintain an existing high performance. 

They are looking for someone with:

• Excellent pig husbandry skills
• A strong work ethic
• Great attention to detail
• High animal welfare standards
• Accurate record keeping
• Good organisation and planning

  Salary guide: £35k  (including overtime)

• Work Place Pension

• Hours Basic 42.5 hour week plus overtime Monday-Friday and every other weekend
