Senior Arable Operator – Bedfordshire

This large-scale, Bedfordshire based farming business are seeking a skilled arable operator to join their team and take the lead on spraying and assist in other tasks as required.

The ideal candidate for this position will be someone who holds PA1 & PA2, has prior experience operating a sprayer and is able to work independently. You will manage your own time and take ownership of the sprayer, ensuring it is well maintained and services are booked in with the manufacturer as well as putting together spray plans and consulting with the agronomist.

In addition to spraying you will be required to help out where necessary with other tasks such as drilling, grain transporting and a small amount of cattle work.

Accommodation is available with this job, should the successful person require it.

What you will have:

• Previous spraying experience
• Full UK driving licence
• PA1 & PA2
• Ability to work unsupervised and on your own initiative
