Pig Stockperson Farm Worker

We have a great new vacancy for a Pig Stockperson to join a team on a farrow-to-finish pig enterprise in North Yorkshire (HG4).

The unit is a 500-sow indoor breeding unit – farrow to finish.

Duties will be predominately in the finishing department, but assistance in other departments will be required.

Ideally, one years of experience is preferred.

Candidates must demonstrate:

• Eagerness to learn with a strong work ethic
• Enthusiasm for the pig industry
• High welfare standards
• Team-player abilities
• Experience with tractors, trailers, telehandlers etc. is preferred but not essential

Salary guide: £35k (including overtime)
