Working Foreman/woman – 330ha Arable, Northern Lincolnshire

We are looking to hire an experienced, practical and hands on working farm foreman/woman to lead operations on a family farm based in the Lincolnshire Wolds National Landscape.

Reporting into the business owner, your primary responsibilities will be for the day-to-day operation of the farm, red tractor crop assurance, and general maintenance of the farm property.

The arable enterprise comprises combinable crops and vining peas, and benefits from well-maintained machinery, including John deere 6215R and 6R185 tractors.

The farm has also diversified into PYO pumpkins, so ensuring the farm is maintained in a safe and welcoming environment is important.

This is a unique opportunity for someone looking to progress their career and take on more autonomy.

Ideal candidate will be:

  • Self-motivated
  • Knowledgeable on soil management and cultivation techniques
  • An excellent machinery operator utilising precision farming tools
  • Skilled in machinery maintenance
  • A strong communicator

The role will include recruiting and managing a seasonal staff, and researching innovations to progress the arable enterprise.
