We have a new vacancy for an experienced person to join the team on a 400-cow herd near Shipston on Stour in Warwickshire.

The 400-acre farm is predominately down to grass, whole crop wheat and maize, and whilst being intensive they have a passion for conservation and wildlife. The pedigree herd are currently producing in excess of 13,000 litres on a 3x system milked through a modern 24/24 Westfalia parlour with cluster flush. They are fed a full TMR ration, bedded on sand cubicles with recent investment in the new Ingenuity management collars.
 
This varied role will involve doing regular feeding of the herd along with clamp management and basic machinery maintenance. In addition to this you will be part of the dairy team to fit into the milking/yard work rota. We are seeking someone with an excellent work ethic and positive attitude to fit in with the small team. Previous experience in a similar role is essential and a telehandler certificate desirable. There could also be hours available for a partner within the dairy team.
