A family-run agricultural machinery dealership is seeking a service technician to join their business in North of Carmarthenshire, Wales.
Offering opportunities for both graduate and more experienced individuals genuinely committed to trying something new.
You will service a range of premium brand machinery (including AGCO products among others) from tractors to sprayers, Krone Foragers to Lemken drills and a large variety of other various agricultural machinery.
In particular we are very keen to offer an individual the exciting opportunity to become a Fendt specialist to service, diagnose and maintain the range which we sell. A full training package can be offered to the right individual who is hungry to learn and absorb the Fendt tractor brand and to eventually to become a fully Fendt Qualified Master Technician.
The role would suit someone seeking variety in their work.
You will possess strong, interpersonal skills and enjoy delivering excellent customer service.
The role:
- Mechanical servicing (technical and diagnostics) both in workshop and on site
- Covering a territory typically within 3 hours drive of your base depot
- Building relationships within team and with customer base
- Meet and exceed customer expectations
- Working under time pressure (e.g. especially during seasonal peaks such as harvest)
What you'll have:
- Mechanical Engineering degree (or equivalent from a related field)
- Practical knowledge and experience of modern, market-leading agricultural machinery (including diagnostics)
- Flexibility to work with seasonal variations
