What you'll be doing

Working for the largest potato packers and growers in the UK employing circa 400 employees.

You'll be the person managing the cropping and irrigation of this 400-acre but expanding site, growing potatoes.

You'll be crop walking, managing irrigation, organising fertiliser programmes and more.

As well as managing the day-to-day crop management, you'll be supporting the growing manager with additional responsibilities more broadly across the team.

You'll also be there to help manage the business management, farm budgets and more.

The day-to-day management of employees will be an area of support in the role, meaning you get to see a whole operation in this senior position.

What you'll need

The ideal candidate will have their FACT and/or BASIS but not to worry if not, this business will invest in YOU!

They are happy to put you through your FACTS and BASIS as well as other qualifications to help you develop and further your skills and knowledge.

Previous experience in potatoes and knowledge of crop management and irrigation is essential!
