Assistant Coldstore Supervisor | Fresh Produce | Kent

The Client

Our client is a family owned business which has been producing fresh produce for many years. They look after their employees and enjoy promoting their team from within, however for this position they are looking for someone new to come into the business and bring in new ideas.

The Role

You will oversee and supervise the daily operations of the coldstore, regarding intake and dispatch operations. You will liaise with farm management in respect of sales, orders, product availability from the field and the coldstore operation in general. You will also coordinate the picking and outloading of customer orders.  

The Candidate

We are looking for someone who is able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude. Someone who has worked with fresh produce within a coldstore / packhouse environment before is required. You will also need to have the ability to maintain and build good relationships with customers. Colleagues and suppliers.
