We’re recruiting for:  Sales Manager – Agriculture

Elsoms Seeds is the UK’s leading independent seed specialist and plant breeder.  We breed, supply, and treat high quality seed throughout the UK, using the latest in plant breeding research and seed technology.

We are looking to recruit a Sales Manager for our Agricultural department to create, agree, and implement clear plans for maximising profit from Agricultural seed, using market and sales tactics.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Sales, Marketing, Technical and Production teams to commercialise new seed products
• Ensure that multi-year sales and royalty targets are achieved, developing all available market opportunities
• Create joint business plans for major customers
• Maintain a high level of commercial and technical expertise, to ensure respect and effectiveness in the industry
• Participate in all activities including Open Days, Conferences, Briefings, internal and external meetings
• Work to a customer-centric ethos including significant travel in the UK and Europe, which may occur outside standard working hours
