Our current Assistant Farm Manager is leaving due to the birth of his second child and his wife wanting to return home to be closer to family. Accordingly, Reid Farm Estates seeks a highly motivated and energetic hands-on individual to join our team, ideally experienced in or having studied all aspects of arable and stock farming as well as estate management.
The role is to use the full range of estate / farming knowledge and skills. You will be working closely with the owner to help in the execution of the processes and procedures as well as the day-to-day operations.
The candidate will require the following:
• Preferably a degree in agriculture.
• Perform to a high standard of operations with attention to detail.
• Self-motivated and a passion for farming and estate management.
• Flexible practical hands-on approach to work.
• Working knowledge of Countryside Stewardship, SFI and other grants.
