ARABLE MANAGER / GENERAL FARM WORKER

Ancaster Estate are looking for an experienced and energetic person to join this progressive farming business, which will start the process of converting to organic production following the 2024 harvest. They are looking for someone who can be responsible for all of the arable enterprise: from carrying out day to day operations such as cultivations, drilling and harvesting, to record keeping and gross margin analysis. They would also be regularly involved with suckler cow and fattening beef enterprises: feeding/bedding up, TB testing, fencing etc. 

Applicants must be capable of working to high standards and have sound practical experience of growing combinable crops. Previous organic experience would be preferred but is not essential.
