Sandfields Farms Ltd is a fresh produce business, growing and packing Salad Onions, Asparagus, Legumes and Pumpkins across a 1600ha land base in Worcestershire and Warwickshire. 

A great opportunity has arisen for Trainee Crop Managers, reporting to the Crop Managers, with real opportunities to progress your career.

This role will encompass all aspects of production including growing and harvest, supporting the Crop Managers daily with:

Crop Walking 
Land planning, drilling programmes and crop establishment
Irrigation Scheduling
Agronomy 
Management of staff
Regen Farming projects

AgTech and Innovation
There will be opportunities to get involved with a wide range of crops as well as understanding the commercial and technical aspects of a large grower suppling major retailers.

Skills and Knowledge

• An understanding of and commitment to H&S

• General understanding of good agricultural practices

• Reliable, willingness to learn, adapt and develop

• Good communication skills 

• Attention to detail

• IT proficient

• Qualified to Level 4/5
