Job Description
We have an exciting opportunity for a Field Operations Specialist at our trialing site in Market Stainton, Lincolnshire. This is an opportunity to support in the development of new varieties across a range of arable crops. The role will support breeders, purity specialists and field biologists with the hands-on practical work. Responsibilities will include drilling, spraying, fertilizer applications, harvesting, and machinery maintenance.
Qualifications and required experience
• Experience of working in the UK agricultural sector with farm machinery.
• experience of handling agricultural chemicals and maintaining appropriate records.
• A basic knowledge of plant breeding and/or trials would be advantageous.
• Excellent team player, with good communication skills, attention to detail and quality-focused.
• Ability to learn and adapt quickly to new challenges, being flexible, hardworking, self-motivated and able to work on your own.
