The Ideal Candidate:

You will have proven experience in Business Development and Account Management, preferably within the agricultural or fresh produce sectors. Having a strong understanding of agricultural products, market dynamics, and industry trends is essential to doing well in this role.

The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a track record of creating and executing effective sales strategies that drive business growth and increase market share. If you excel in building and maintaining strong client relationships and are adept at leading and motivating a sales team to achieve and exceed targets, this is the role for you. With excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, you can effectively collaborate with other departments to align sales strategies with overall business goals.

About the role:

As National Sales Manager you will be creating and executing comprehensive sales strategies to achieve business objectives and increase market share. It will be your job to lead, mentor, and motivate the internal sales team to meet and exceed sales targets.

In addition to the above, you will be building and maintaining strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders in the agricultural industry while simultaneously monitoring market conditions and competitor activities.

Our client has over 40 years in the business, their products are recognised nationally as being first-class in the industry. As one of the largest producers of timber storage boxes in the UK, they have the capability to meet the most demanding of requirements in the agriculture and fresh produce industries. Products are produced here in the UK and are produced more than 100,000 boxes per annum.
