ARABLE FARM MANAGER 2,500 ACRES EAST YORKSHIRE

E Reed & Son is the arable business within the Dewhirst Farming Group, a successful family business that has a diverse range of farming interests across the county.

The business is looking to appoint an Arable Farm Manager to oversee all aspects of the arable and related farming operations, reporting to the managing partner. E Reed & Son is well equipped, with a small team of skilled operators, growing cereals, vining peas, potatoes and energy crops. There are additional responsibilities to the sister business, Yorkwold Pig Pro, with regards to manure and straw handling.

The successful applicant will have relevant qualifications and experience in agriculture, with a mindset to run E. Reed & Son like their own business. An emphasis will be placed upon finding a candidate with a strong team ethic and the character to work seamlessly with all of the wider farming group enterprises.

The position will attract a competitive salary/pension, a vehicle, plus other incentives.
