Site Manager - Food By Products - North West

One of the UKs leading reprocessing food products companies are looking for an efficient and organized individual with the drive to maintain high standards to manage their food processing plant in the North West.

As Site Manager you will be responsible for the oversight and supervision of all operations, including site production, intake of former food materials, safe storage and the distribution of finished products.

With your positive outlook you will play a pivotal role in the efficient running of this site. Ensuring the end product meets the highest of standards

What the role will involve

• Production team management

• Supervising and controlling production process

• Management of product – Handling, storage, preservation

• Organisation of planned maintenance and cleaning

• Planning and organizing production plans

• Overseeing daily. Weekly and monthly checks

• Adhering to Health and Safety legislation to ensure safety for your fellow workers

• Management of staff, ensuring training is complaint for their specific roles

• Controlling Budget Expectations

Requirements

• Excellent organisational skills

• Ability to take ownership

• High standards of performance and cost control

• Previous experience in a similar role – animal feed/food milling would be advantageous

• Exceptional people management skills

• High level of literacy and numerical skills

The successful candidate will be remunerated with an attractive salary in line with experience, performance related bonus and company health plan
