Experienced Pig Stockpeople

We have a client looking to recruit Experienced Pig Stockpeople for a free-range pig farm in Queensland, Australia, ideally on a Sub Class 482 Visa.

These fantastic new job opportunities are based on a 2200-sow outdoor pig farm. 

The enterprise has high animal welfare standards. Its pigs are raised and fed the 'natural way' using chemically free methods. They farrow-to-finish on one site and are part of the Australian Pork Industry Quality Assurance Program Certified (APIQ) scheme.

Our client has recently expanded the unit and is looking for good stock people to join their busy team.
 

Applicants will need to demonstrate:

• High welfare standards
• You will need three + years of commercial pig experience to qualify for a 482 Visa
• Passion for pig farming
• Good communication and people skills
• Interest or experience in free-range farming

Salary guide: $100,000 - $150,000+ depending on position and experience.

Plus: Single-person and family housing is available – rent payable per week.
