Agri-Environment Specialist

Just Farm has two immediate vacancies. We are looking for analytical thinking individuals, passionate about helping Farmers and Landowners navigate the latest and most appropriate funding schemes. We are a fast-growing team, based in the heart of the Cotswolds, seeking individuals with senior management potential.

At Just Farm we are challenging the status quo to serve farmers best needs and become the go to service provider for all farming grants. As a team we are quietly confident, efficient and accurate, excellent communicators and have great fun helping our clients maximise value.

Responsibilities

o Develop a leading knowledge of the core DEFRA payment schemes; Sustainable Farming Incentive and Stewardship under ELMs.

o Design and Deliver schemes with clients to maximise their business resilience and profitability through relevant DEFRA schemes.

o Ensure the client Service Specialist team is fully briefed to deliver exceptional service to the client.

o Build and grow existing business relationships by fully communicating Just Farms values.

o Identify and generate new business opportunities and establish trade relationships.

o Attend industry events to network with potential clients and stay up-to-date on industry trends and developments.

o Complete Annual Declarations for our growing client base.

Requirements

o Degree level education: Showcasing the ability to become a subject matter expert and present complex concepts.

o Team Player: Ability to work in a tight knit team, championing colleagues and driving towards a shared goal.

o Pro-Active Self Starter: Demonstrating the ability to embrace and be motivated by a challenge.

o Great Communication Skills: Effective communication skills are essential, both in terms of listening and understanding the client’s ambition, but also the ability to influence decisions and present value propositions.

o Responsible: Taking ownership of a workload and personal objectives.

o Results Driven & Outcome Focused: Owning a target and controlling the result.

o Passionate about the Countryside: While no industry experience is necessary a deep curiosity of what motivates our clients, with a drive to deliver, will enable personal satisfaction for the successful candidate.

This is a full-time position. Working from our office near Bourton on the Water, Gloucestershire, candidates will be required to live within a 40 minute commute of the office and possess a full UK Driving Licence.
