The Company

Having been operating for 34 years, they are a well-established and highly regarded leading provider of agricultural, environmental, and planning consultancy services.

Based in Bury St. Edmunds and predominantly operating around Suffolk, this firm also has a wide client base that spreads from Lincolnshire down to Sussex. Owing to the recent influx of new business and an increasing client base, they are looking to add further to their growing team.

As part of a small but established team, there is scope for immediate work to be undertaken plus training in your area of interest and career progression within the company.

The Role

Working as an Agricultural Management Consultant, you will be providing management and strategic advice to an established, diverse range of Estates and Farming clients throughout the East and Southeast of England. Key responsibilities of this role will include Developing your own portfolio through the newly created Future Farming Resilience Fund; preparing financial evidence on which to base your advice and researching and advising on rural grant funding and subsidy schemes.

All of this will be carried out whilst utilising some of the most progressive tools in the industry to dig deeper into your clients' opportunities and liaising with a range of professional industry stakeholders.

About you

Due to the increased workload, this firm is looking to bring in the right individual to complement and grow the existing team. You will have a desire to provide high quality advice to farmers and landowners. You will be skilled in maintaining and developing relationships and have the ability to function both as a strong team player and a focused individual. Owing to the nature of the work, you will have excellent analytical and numerical abilities, a good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and great communication skills, both written and oral.
