Are you an experienced Outdoor Pig Unit Manager who leads by example and puts animal welfare first?

On behalf of our reputable client, we are looking for an experienced Outdoor Pig Unit Manager to join their team near the north Norfolk coast, PE36

The successful candidate will be actively involved with all areas of the pig breeding unit, responsible for managing the staff, and ensuring the condition of the livestock is maintained at a high standard. They will be responsible for a 1000-sow outdoor breeding herd on a 7-week wean system and four staff members.

The Outdoor Pig Unit Manager will manage the unit's performance, ensuring targets are met and maintaining commercial focus while directing the team. 

The successful candidate will have previous experience with livestock and managerial expertise. Due to the nature of the role, we are looking for flexible individuals who always prioritise animal welfare.

Salary guide: £40,000 DOE
