Do you have good communications skills and a passion for cattle?

Here is your opportunity to take on an exciting role that will play to your strengths and allow you to work with cattle without the ties of working on a farm.

As a Calf Procurement Rep, you’ll visit dairy farms, presenting the benefits of becoming a calf supplier and negotiating purchase agreements. You’ll also act as the main point of contact for suppliers, providing ongoing support.

To succeed in this role, you’ll need a strong understanding of beef and dairy farming and the ability to build lasting, productive relationships with farmers.

The role:

  • Regular travel to visit farms
  • Follow up enquiries
  • Pitch to farmers the benefits of signing up as a calf supplier
  • Negotiate purchase of calves
  • Main point of contact for suppliers
  • Build long lasting, productive relationships with farmers
  • Arrange calf collection date

About you:

  • Good communication skills
  • Strong understanding of beef & dairy sectors
  • UK driving licence
  • Willing to travel within South West England & South Wales
  • Previous sales/procurement experience (Advantageous)

Remuneration:

  • Salary dependent on experience
  • Bonus
