We have a contract vacancy for an assistant herdsperson to be part of a team milking 400 cows yielding 12,500 ltrs on 3 x milking six miles west of Bath.

The herd is milked through a 20-40 GEA rapid exit, Swingover parlour with ACR’s, ADF and backing gate. This is a very modern unit being part of a 1,500-acre farm that is fully staffed.

The appointed person should be fully conversant with milking to a high standard, and support the herd manager, whilst being part of a team, which will include some night milkings. 

A mobile home accommodation is available on farm.
