Albanwise Farming West Norfolk is a modern diverse farming business cropping 8000 acres, with a rotation of cereals, alongside sugar beet, forage maize, grain maize, vining peas, beans and sunflowers.

Following restructure within the farming business, our West Norfolk farm requires a new operator to work alongside our existing team. The position is suited to a motivated and enthusiastic individual with a keen eye for detail. Duties will include but are not limited to:

• Sole operator of a new 500hp articulated tractor, responsible for all maintenance and upkeep

• Cultivations - Horsch Tiger, TWB Subsoiler, Farmet Fantom and others. 

Establishment of cover and catch crops. Maintenance of machinery used is a key part of the position

• Ploughing – 9 furrow Kverneland RN semi-mounted

• Spray bowser support

• Fertiliser spreader support and logistics

• General estate maintenance – verge mowing, drain jetting etc

This is a varied and exciting place to work and requires someone who is willing to turn their hand to other tasks. Applicants should have experience of large-scale farming and machinery, with a high standard of fieldwork. Forklift certification, counterbalance, PA1,2,4,6 and any other qualifications all considered an advantage.

Renumeration will be competitive, with accommodation close to the farm provided if necessary and opportunities for training and development provided.
