Dairy Calf Sales Specialist- Southwest England

I am looking for someone with a passion for the dairy sector looking to join a market leading company specialising in dairy calf nutrition. This business can boast a strong industry reputation and a team of knowledgeable sales specialists covering the UK and Ireland.

The collaborative UK team pride themselves on adding value for their clients, this is a business built on long term relationships with both merchants and on farm. They regularly hold joint farm visits with their merchants, knowledge transfer events and provide exceptional nutritional support.

Joining one of their busiest territories in the UK, you will be an integral figure in their team where you will not just be a figure in a larger business, the team regularly get involved with marketing strategies, research and development and identifying gaps in the market. You will be responsible for delivering excellent technical product and nutritional expertise whilst striving for commercial growth in your territory.

You must have:

• Hands on dairy farm experience and an affinity with the dairy farming sector.

• Experience in calf rearing, this ideally would be with dairy heifers but those with beef calf rearing background would also be considered.

• An aptitude for sales, those with sales experience would be of particular interest but those without prior sales experience will need to demonstrate the determination, resilience and communication skills needed.

• A technical understanding of ruminant nutrition, this could be from an academic or practical perspective.

• A full UK driving license and be based in, or willing to relocate to SW England.

 A competitive salary package will be offered to the successful person.
