Job Details

We're recruiting for a Pig Stockperson for a farm in North Lincolnshire (LN7).

You will work on a recently built, modern, fully automated 600-sow breeding-to-finishing, wet-fed unit.
The farm has a wet mill and mix system, which is fully computerised and automated. The ability to work with computer systems is an integral part of the position.

The unit works on a weekly weaning system with farrow-to-finish on one site.  It is fully slatted and functions to the highest welfare standards.

While pig farming experience is preferred, it's not a deal-breaker. The producer will provide comprehensive on-site training to ensure you have the knowledge you need to succeed in this role.

Salary range: £25,000 - £35,000 DOE

Plus:

  • Pension scheme
  • 28 days holiday, including bank holidays
  • A static caravan on-site or assistance with housing can be arranged if you need it.

As part of the team, you'll be expected to work one weekend out of every three.
