Senior Agricultural Scientist

We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Agricultural Scientist on a fixed term basis until September 2025, with a passion for innovation and leadership. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead and manage a small team focussed tackling the biggest challenges in Crop Protection.

You will be at the forefront of disease management research, influencing stakeholders and helping to shape the future of UK cereal and oilseed production. With a strong focus on project delivery, you’ll oversee disease monitoring, provide strategic guidance on plant protection, and ensure research programmes deliver tangible value to the sector.

The ideal candidate will be:

• Degree qualified in a relevant field (Crop protection, Plant science etc)

• Experienced in Disease and Crop protection

• Detail orientated

• Comfortable presenting to internal and external stakeholders

• Able to engage with people at all levels

• Experienced within Agricultural Research with the ability to influence stakeholders
