Job Details

We are recruiting for an experienced indoor Pig Stockperson for a farm in North Yorkshire (DL6).

The job role is a great opportunity to join a well-established family farm on a 750-sow farrow-to-weaner unit.

The ideal candidate will ideally have experience in all areas, particularly farrowing.


Person specifications:

  • Good all-round farming skills
  • A strong work ethic
  • Great attention to detail
  • Bobcat knowledge would be preferred (but not essential)
  • High animal welfare standards

 

Salary guide: £32,000 (doe)

Accommodation may be available with the job.

Hours: 06:30 - 16:00 Monday-Friday plus every other weekend 07:00 - 11:00.
