Job Details

We are recruiting for an Assistant Manager for a Pig Unit in Worcestershire, WR10.

This unit was recently acquired and is now part of a family-run business with the vision and resources to invest significantly in its facilities and employees. They offer a comprehensive career development pathway for applicants seeking growth and advancement opportunities. 

This unit is a modern 600 sow straw-based breeding to finishing unit.


We are specifically looking for someone who can demonstrate:  

  • Excellent attention to detail and diligence
  • Good sow husbandry skills
  • High passion for animal welfare
  • Self-driven attributes
  • Provide valuable support for the pig manager

 

Salary Guide: £34,000 - £37,000 + DOE

Plus: 

  • Very nice 3-bed family home available close to the site 
  • A work place pension

 

Hours: Approx. 7 am – 5 pm, plus 10 hours over the weekend every other weekend.
