Shore Hall Estate Ltd comprises of 700ha combinable crops within a ring fence alongside a commercially operated grain handling and cleaning facility based in North Essex. The business is well equipped to handle the Hanslope series soils in a timely and efficient manner allowing operations to be undertaken with a high level of attention to detail.

The business now requires a Lead Arable Operator to undertake the following tasks:

• Primary and Secondary cultivations

• Ploughing 

• Drilling cereals, pulses and oilseeds

• Fertiliser spreading

• Liquid fertiliser and pesticide application

• Ditching

• Estate maintenance

• Machinery and equipment maintenance

• Option of Combining

You will be expected to work within a small team, however there will be periods where you will work on your own using your own initiative.

 

What the individual requires

• PA1, PA2 and PA4S&G.  Spraying experience essential

• Telehandler certificate

• Attention to detail

• Ability to resolve and handle unexpected issues
